USC- Institute for Creative Technologies research environment to open in Playa Vista, California
ad architect's project, USC-Institute for Creative Technologies opens June 28th relocating the existing facility designed by ad ten years ago. The challenge was in creating a research environment to attract the brightest minds in the world for the continuing development of artificial intelligence, facial recognition technology and 3-D interactive imaging. Project includes130 seat 2-story theater, screening room, laboratories, light scanning stage, open collaborative research space. The $9.5 million project built in 16 weeks - Design/Project Management by ad & construction by Cannon Constructors South.

Ballentine Vineyard’s permanent tasting room opens in St. Helena, California
Over 100 years of wine producing history provides the foundation for outstanding wines such as the award winning Maple Leaf Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon or the Old Vines Napa Valley Zinfandel at Ballentine Vineyards & Winery. After years of a temporary tasting room, ad architect’s is pleased have been selected to design Ballentine’s first permanent tasting room. The design evokes a blend of the winery’s great history and a contemporary look to the future. The June issue of Tasting & Touring will feature Ballentine’s new tasting room. Cheers! |
